    Guided Read More

These trips are led by two qualified and experienced Wilderness guides. One of these guides will cycle on the road with you each day, providing you with guidance and imparting their local knowledge of the landscape, flora and fauna. Your other guide acts as an all-round trip wizard driving the support vehicle, shuttling luggage, preparing gourmet coffee stops and lunches, acting as mechanic, taking care of essential tour arrangements and a whole lot more besides.

    Self Guided plus+ Read More

Our Self-Guided plus+ trips are not guided but provide a highly personalised level of support you won’t find on regular self-guided bike tours. A dedicated member of the Wilderness Team will be on hand throughout the trip, performing the equivalent role of the “soigneur” – a key member of every pro cycling team. Essentially they will take care of everything on the trip except for cycling on the road with you.

Throughout your adventure, they will be on hand to drive the support vehicle, transfer your luggage, provide snacks and drinks, shuttle riders where required, offer navigational advice, first aid and take care of cleaning and servicing bikes at the end of the day.

Using the route files and Garmin GPS head units provided, you can choose to ride at your own pace stopping for coffee and lunches along the way at locations recommended by your Soigneur. As with our guided trips, you will stay at hand-picked accommodation pre-booked by us and, in the evenings, you can choose to eat from a selection of recommended restaurants. All self guided plus+ cycling trips will start on a fixed date, which you can check when you are browsing our trips below.

Every client receives a feedback survey when they return from their guided, self guided or tailor made holiday with us. Once completed the review is published on our website just as soon as our database updates. The little touches and details are important to us and where issues are raised we make positive changes to our trips to improve your experience.

That’s why we read each of our client’s reviews and although we don’t respond to all of them, if it’s glowing feedback then we get the satisfaction of helping to make your holidays truly memorable.
