Oh my gosh! I hardly know where to begin. Everything about the County Clare & County Kerry trip was amazing. Our guide, Declan, was awesome. His knowledge of the area was brilliant, and his enthusiasm was contagious. Each place we visited was magical in it's own way. The hikes were perfect. The lodgings were great. The food was delicious & so fresh. I really didn't want the trip to end. Thank you for this beautiful experience. I'm looking forward to more!

If I had to replicate this exact same trip on my own, I couldn't do it for the price with nearly the experience and efficiency. I'd be renting a car, fumbling around with where to go, navigating ferries and places to eat. Should the weather get crazy, as it did, Duncan nimbly changed the itinerary. He knew what was open and what was not, the best places to go. That expertise is just invaluable and way cheaper in the long run. It probably would have cost me 9 days (plus an expensive car rental) on my own vs 7 days with Wilderness to get the same experience. Also, we would never get the stories or inside information. Time is money. Think of the time it would take me to research, and the tremendous efficiency Wilderness provided having everything prepared and thought out for me. It isn't just the price... The VALUE is what is most important and this was certainly a high-value trip.

Greetings from Vancouver Island, I am sending this email with feedback on our recent trip of September 7. What a great cycling holiday we had and what fun it was to ride with 5 old mates. We are all over 70 and it was important for us to be safe. Our soigneur Fergus was excellent and we were all full of praise. He went over and beyond to support us and to ensure we had a good and safe holiday, even though I know he was itching to get on the bike too! He was ever present, patient and helpful and his van with the bikes often popped up along the way at a coffee or lunch stop. We could not fault him so don't let him retire. This being a 'self guided plus' was great for us. The cycling was wonderful with a great route, decent lengths and lovely climbs. The hotels were fine and in lovely towns. For improvement? The beginning and end of the tour could have been better. The bikes had to come from Sligo, 6 hours away which meant we didn't meet until 11 and then were on the bus to Mizzen head. This was, in my mind, a bit late for us to head off on new bikes in a foreign country on the first day. The end was also a bit disappointing. Riding from Doolin towards Galway and then stopping at a small roadside cafe for pick up to be bused to Galway. If the ride into Galway is really that bad (I have always ridden into a town including Rome, Paris and London.) My suggestion would be to have the tour end at a hotel, for example the Maldron Hotel at Oranmore. We would then clean up, give the bikes back and have a celebratory farewell dinner. The next morning we would be bused to Galway station. For me, It felt flat in the hotel in Galway. On a cycling tour we have no transport. Please have all the hotels in a town. In Ballybunion for example 'The Cliff House hotel'. We walked out every night to find a pub and dinner. GPS. I think you know that the garmins are hard work, I just got Fergus ( the hero) to put mine on the right route and fix it every day! Roll out the iphones. Overall, I highly recommend your company and the tour, well done and many thanks.
