    Mini Bio

I’m a proud culchie from lovely Leitrim, now living across the border in the rival county, Roscommon. I’ve been fishing since I was a child, have had a whole menagerie of pets, and love nothing more than being outdoors — walking through forests, surfing, or swimming in the ocean — or occasionally trying (and often failing) to hit a tennis ball.

I love staying active with a mix of sports and adventures, but I’m just as happy curled up with my cats, snacks in hand, and a good TV show on.

    Favourite Place to Play

Surfing in Rossnowlagh is my happy place — when the waves are good, there’s nowhere better! With the unpredictable Irish weather, though, the real luxuries aren’t just the waves but the little comforts that come with them: a decent car park to get changed in, an outdoor shower to rinse off, and, most importantly, a trusty port-a-loo!

Not a lot of People Know This

Most people don’t know that I somehow ended up in the semi-finals of a bouldering competition! It was a mix of excitement and terror, and easily the most bouldering I’d ever done in one day. I could barely move the next morning!

That experience actually led to a cool opportunity the following year — I got to return as a judge for the competition.
