So, what is a culture and heritage tour? Similar to our other small group tours, culture and heritage tours are guided adventures designed to offer a look into the rich history, traditions, stories and culture across Ireland. These tours allow visitors to really immerse themselves in Irish culture, hearing its stories, meeting its people and walking in the footsteps of those who shaped it. These tours are more than just ticking sights off a list.

But what does that really mean? Let’s explore what you can expect in the guide below.

Is a Culture & Heritage Tour Similar to a Hiking Tour?

Not exactly, but there can be overlap. Culture & Heritage tours and Hiking tours are both weeklong guided tours that explore a particular Irish region. Most days of a cultural tour will involve some gentle walking, but not strenuous hiking.

However, the focus is not on the walking. You might stroll through a monastic site, wander a coastal village or walk between ancient stone walls in a rural landscape. Think relaxed pace and plenty of time to explore, reflect and ask questions.
