    Mini Bio

I’m just a simple Yorkshire lass who’s fallen in love with this beautiful Emerald Isle. I’ve been lucky enough to live all over the world, from New Zealand and Australia, to America and Japan, before finally moving to Ireland in 2017.

I’m big into my adventures and keeping fit so I regularly set myself new challenges, whether that be triathlons, long distance swimming, hiking, climbing or surfing.

Moving to Ireland was one of the best things I’ve ever done and I’m delighted to be able to call the magical Wild Atlantic Way home.

    Favourite Place to Play

Living up to my Aquarian zodiac sign I’m truly happiest when in the water. I’m mad about wild swimming, whether that be in the sea, lake or river. Ireland couldn’t be more better-suited for this kind of swimming, and the surf’s not half bad either! Plonk me anywhere along a coast line and I’ll be ‘happy out’.

Not a lot of People Know This

I once interviewed Sir Bob Geldof on the world hunger crisis.

    Education & Experience Read More

I studied Geography and Environmental Science at the University of Dundee in Scotland – I also spent one year in New York at New Paltz University on a transfer year working on my Environmental Science Degree. After graduating in 2015, I then went on to gain a diploma in Leadership and Management from Oxford Summer School in 2016.

I was also in the military for several years, an experience that gave me strong morals and values such as self discipline, loyalty and integrity which I still live by today.

Following that, I was an Area Manager Graduate within Halfords but also spent time with their operations team in their head office in the UK & Ireland.

Travel & Biggest Adventures Read More

I’ve been fortunate enough to have traveled to over 35 different countries. Some of the most memorable of these would include Nepal, Japan, Uganda and Vietnam.

One of my biggest adventures to date was leading a group of 18 people to Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal. This expedition took over a year of preparation and meant that we raised over £45,000 for a children’s charity.

    Hobbies & Activities Read More

I am an avid adventurer and fitness fanatic, and love to combine the two.

I do a lot of outdoor swimming, surfing, running and triathlon training. I love to get out on my bike and pack a picnic for a day of exploring.

I love testing my limits and have been known to do wing walking, sky diving, bungee jumping, as well as diving with great white sharks.
