I am a keen Gaeilgeoir (Irish speaker) with a passion for the history and heritage of the Emerald Isle. I feel privileged to be in a position to showcase Ireland to those willing to experience it through adventure. Packing up the boat, bike or campervan has and always will give me happiness.

    Favourite Place to Play

After spending years wandering remote areas of the world trying to find the ideal hideaway, I’ve come to realise that the most beautiful place in the world has been on my doorstep this whole time. I currently lead an adventure therapy programme for Ireland’s harshest critiques – teenagers.

It’s been my ambition for a long time now to travel to wild, remote and exciting parts of the world. I try to make at least one big trip each year. Some of these trips include kayaking around Ireland in 37 days, cycling through Mexico in 33 days or living in one of the most remote and poverty-stricken areas of Southern Africa for two years.

I grew up playing GAA (Gaelic Football and Hurling) but while in college, I fell in love with white water kayaking. Over the years, it has brought me all over the world to some amazing places while connecting with amazing people. More recently, I’ve swapped the kayak for a bike but with the same results.
