Mini Bio
I am originally from the North coast of Ireland and grew up in CO Derry on a farm, then moved to Ballygawley, Co Tyrone. Married to Patrina and now have 3 kids all grown up in Naimh, Tiarnan and Padraig. I have worked in the clothing industry in production, bank assurance, and for the past 24 years as a self-employed financial adviser. I love the outdoors and always have been an active person, playing Gaelic football and soccer for most of my adult life. I love being in the mountains and am an avid ultra-runner, trail runner, fell runner, cyclist, and mountain biker.
Favourite Place to Play
The Mourne Mountains in County Down for trail and fell running and hiking in the Lake District.
Not a lot of People Know This
When I was 8 I spent 2 weeks in hospital after almost losing my middle finger on left hand after a playground/gate incident. Being naturally left handed, I had to sit on a desk by myself for 6 months to learn to write with my right hand! So can write with both now!
