Mini Bio

I have had a meandering and interesting pathway to becoming a hiking guide, beginning as a young professional rugby player and now as a freelance cinematographer. Both careers brought enormous pressures, but I always found calm in the mountains and forests of Ireland.

Over the years, I have hiked all across Ireland, Scotland, Europe, Central America, and South America, from the romantic hills of Connemara to the daunting volcanoes of Nicaragua. I have always loved the outdoors, and I now aim to help others experience that love for nature.

Anywhere and everywhere in county Mayo, particularly Achill Island.

I have travelled to 70 countries over six continents.
