    About the Role

    As Operations Coordinator, you will have responsibility for the logistics of our range of holidays. You will collaborate with fellow operations team members and external suppliers, booking and coordinating guides, hotels and other providers to ensure seamless trip delivery to our clients. This may include our range of fixed date group trips, custom trips as well as working for our B2B partners.

    • Type: Full time, permanent
    • Office Time: 95% In the Field / Work Related Travel: 5%
    • Salary: €26,000 – €28,000 depending on experience

    We Are Looking for Someone With:

    • Minimum of 1 or 2 years of work experience that has provided you with transferable skills suited to working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
    • Relevant experience, dealing with all parts of the tourism supply chain, gained within the travel or tourism industry is a bonus but not a must.
    • Excellent computer skills – experience with cloud-based CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, as well as google apps and Mac OS is helpful.
    • Practical experience of some or all of the activities offered by Wilderness Ireland would be an advantage but is not essential.
    • Good knowledge of the regions of Ireland where Wilderness Ireland operates.
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills, awareness and emotional intelligence with an ability to develop and sustain business relationships.
    • A natural collaborator who enjoys working in teams with a diverse range of individuals.
    • A strong and clear commitment to customer service excellence and “extra mile” delivery.
    • Excellent attention to detail, even when faced with multiple tasks and deadlines
      Full Irish/EU driving licence.

    Your Responsibilities Will Be To

    • Ensure all of your departures are planned and logistically set up for successful delivery in the season.
    • Work with the Operations Team in making reservations with accommodations, transport and other service providers.
    • Proactively deal with any client/guide requests arising before or during trips within your allocated set of departures.
    • Reactively support the operations team as required with unforeseen circumstances that impact trip delivery.
    • Provide an exceptional level of client care at all times.
    • Support and implement any changes required on any of your trips throughout the season.
    • Action any necessary amendments/enhancements to your departures and improve itineraries based on client or guide feedback.
    • Ensure all financial aspects of your trip are reconciled post departure.
