Turning Black to Green
We decided to do things a bit differently this year. To celebrate the launch of our pioneering carbon labelling project, we’re turning Black Friday Green.
We are passionate about taking real action on climate change and environmental conservation. We know that our travellers care deeply about our natural world and want to travel responsibly. Together, we can explore wild places and have a positive impact on the environment.
For each traveller who books between the 26th November and the 6th December, we will support habitat restoration and native reforestation. Through our conservation partner at the Native Woodland Trust in Ireland, we will plant one native Irish tree per traveller in woodlands across Ireland. Sadly depleted in past times, and this project aims to help replenish this important and integral Irish habitat and ecosystem, as well as remove carbon from the atmosphere which our planet urgently needs.
The Green Friday promotion is in addition to our Conservation Contribution Scheme. The funds from this voluntary contribution support various charities such as Burren Beo, which works to preserve the fragile environment and heritage of the Burren National Park and surrounding region in County Clare.
