Wilderness Ireland nominated for Most Sustainable Holiday in Ireland in 2016 by Outsider magazine!

Our Cycling and Yoga Escape is included in this prestigious category which has now gone to the public vote.

Outsider magazine, (Ireland’s largest outdoor activity magazine) organise an annual awards scheme for Ireland’s most sustainable and ethical companies. We are absolutely delighted to be included this year in the Most Sustainable Holiday in Ireland category. This award category is in partnership with the Leave no Trace organisation, instilling ethics and good practice into outdoor activity. Our Cycling and Yoga escape itinerary offers our guests to experience the best of wild Ireland on two wheels! The highlights include:

    • Far from major tourist routes, discover a more relaxed pace of life travelling through the backroads of north-west Ireland.
    • Experience a stress-free cycling escape with a tailor-made yoga class each day.
    • Cycle through some of the most beautiful valleys and majestic coastlines in Ireland including the glacial valleys of Glencar and wild coastal roads in Donegal.

The Voting for this award goes on until January 31st. So if you re able and willing please add a wee vote for us! Click here to read more about our approach to sustainability.
